Earth Day Freebie + Resources

Earth Day is April 22nd, and it’s a day that I always really like in the classroom! It always means that we are deep into Spring, which means the end of the year is near…and usually it fell on a day where we were gearing up for state testing, or we were in the midst of it. So we would have a bit of a looser schedule when it came to holding tight to regular class schedules. If I wanted to do a huge math review with recycling in the classroom, or walk around all afternoon picking up garbage on the playground, we usually could!

Plus, I just like a day that focuses on keeping our Earth beautiful! I think that’s a very worthy cause, and Spring time is a great time to reflect on how pretty the world is when nature just gets to do its thing.

But, this year of course is different. I’m writing this post in April of 2020, and no one is in school to celebrate with their kids. So, I want to help you celebrate from a distance!

In my freebie library, I am offering this Earth Day “Would You Rather” prompt collection to you as a little thank you for following along on my site! Reminder: I add new freebies to this library every month, so you keep getting new things added to the collection as I make them! Some of these I also house on TPT to make them more widely accessible, while many I keep as an exclusive to my blog readers. :)
